Russia has revealed a new nuclear missile after far-left activists complained that “even missiles should show diversity.”
“The Pride-themed warhead, a modified RS-28, is meant to represent all identities equally before impact,” says Moscow.
General Igor Komov stood next to the missile and said, “It still kills millions. But now, it does it with empathy.”
The Kremlin said the change was made in response to Western pressure. A group of activists had started a petition demanding that all weapons reflect “modern inclusive values.”
Reports suggest the initial design included pronouns on the side of the missile and replaced the trigger with a feelings survey, but the system failed after showing signs of emotional instability.
Analysts predict it will leave a lasting impact, socially and otherwise.
